One of my favorite magazines – Caribbean Travel & Life – just came out with a list of some of the best all-inclusive resorts in the Caribbean, and it makes me long for those carefree days when all you have to worry about is whether to hang out by the pool or on the beach. I love all-inclusive resorts because they make me feel like a king. Except for a cruise, where else does an average guy get waited on day in and day out and provided with so much food and drink for so little, all while basking in the sun and sand – thousands of miles away from the workaday world? Ahhhh!
I’ve been to several all-inclusive resorts and while they’ve never been perfect, they certainly were close enough for my taste. It’s pretty easy to overlook some dust in your room when you walk out the door into paradise. Hopefully, Diane and I will get to try out a couple of these awesome all-inclusives on the Caribbean Travel & Life list soon.
Below is the list of Caribbean Travel & Life all-inclusive resorts. For more information on each, along with unbiased traveler reviews and cost comparisons, I link out to TripAdvisor pages:
Grand Palladium Punta Cana Resort & Spa, Dominican Republic
What Caribbean Travel & Life has to say: “You’ll never be bored and, thanks to the eco-friendly, low-density layout, you’ll never feel like you’re staying in a crowded, cookie-cutter resort.”
Bolongo Bay Beach Resort, St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands
What Caribbean Travel & Life has to say: “Spend your days snorkeling with sea turtles, then enjoy fresh fish or Caribbean lobster for dinner. Afterward, it’s off to Iggie’s Beach Bar to enjoy live music in a place where everyone really does know your name.”
The Veranda, Providenciales, Turks & Caicos Islands
What Caribbean Travel & Life has to say: “Provo has long enchanted Caribbean Travel + Life editors and readers with its sugar-soft sand, sparkling turquoise waters and welcoming locals, and now The Veranda offers guest the perfect way to have—and enjoy—it all.”
The BodyHoliday LeSport, Castries, St. Lucia
What Caribbean Travel & Life has to say: “Fresh off its own makeover, the award-winning Wellness Center is a place where guests are invited to restore body and soul in a tranquil environment.”
LeBlanc Spa Resort, Cancun, Mexico
What Caribbean Travel & Life has to say: “LeBlanc Spa Resort’s AAA Five Diamond award says it all. Even in the heart of Cancun’s hotel zone, you’ll feel like you’re a world apart. With over-the-top personal attention and a near one-to-one guest-to-staff ratio, just think it and it shall be.”
