We thought we would share this funny video of drunken monkeys stealing drinks from sunbathers on the Eastern Caribbean island of St. Kitts. These vervet monkeys were brought over to the island in the late 1600s on ships engaged in slave trading. The monkeys acquired a taste for alcohol by consuming fermented sugar cane in the fields. Now, these sneaky thieves will grab unattended drinks from unsuspecting tourists on the beach. The result? Drunken monkeys on the beach, of course. Enjoy!
