Hawaiian surfer fights back, punches shark after being bitten

After being bitten repeatedly in the foot by a 10-foot tiger shark off Oahu’s North Shore, Joshua Holley punched the shark twice in the snout, scaring him away, and made it back to shore with the help of two fellow surfers. “I’m not going to die today,” Holley yelled at the shark while fighting back. Holley required 42 stitches to his foot and will need surgery to repair two torn tendons. He describes his ordeal in this video from ABC News:
