“This is one of the best beach tunes I have ever heard!”
“It makes me want to go to the beach right now!”
“I just love this song! I can’t stop singing it!”
“This song speaks to me because I AM a Beach Maniac!”
These are just a few of the responses to the newly released song Beach Maniac by the Beach Maniacs, a new band born from the traditions of Jimmy Buffett, Zac Brown Band, Kenny Chesney, John Frinzi, Howard Livngston and many others who just love, as the Beach Maniac song says, “Soaking up the Sand and the Sun.”
Beach Maniac captures that tropical feel and is sung from the perspective of a dreamer who comes to a revelation while “Shoveling Snow in the Cold Northern Blow” that his life is “Cloudy and Trite.” Seeing a jet flying overhead, he visualizes himself “Grabbing a Ride in the Sky” and landing in “Paradise Space.”
This is the first release by the Beach Maniacs, a band you won’t likely see on tour because they spend most of their time lounging on the beach in “A Life Filled with Naps.”
Why? Because, as they sing, “My Heart is at Ease With This Tropical Breeze; I’m Homeless But Living in Bliss.”
Beach Maniac is now available for purchase – for a mere 99 cents – on CD Baby, iTunes and Amazon.
Please help support this indie song by downloading it and by spreading your discovery through Facebook, Twitter and other Social Media outlets. Anyone who loves the beach, will definitely love this song!

Beach Maniac© Lyrics
I was shoveling snow
In the cold northern blow
When it all became so clear to me
That my life wasn’t right
It was cloudy and trite
And I needed some new scenery
The skies opened up
A jet flying by
On its way to a bright warmer place
In my head I rose high
Grabbed a ride in the sky
And landed in paradise space
Now I’m a Beach Maniac
Insaniac
Soaking up the sand and the sun
I’m a Beach Maniac
No-brainiac
Worries disappear with the rum
I’m a Beach Maniac
Real zaniac
You can keep my ipad and phone
I’m a Beach Maniac
Burned front to back
Don’t care if I ever go home
My whole life is new
The work world is through
Traded suit-ties for sandals and caps
Won’t ever back
To a world dressed in black
Staying here in a life filled with naps
So don’t call me back home
To that cold frosty dome
Just send money and throw me a kiss
‘Cause my heart is at ease
With this tropical breeze
I’m homeless but living in bliss
‘Cause I’m a Beach Maniac
Insaniac
Soaking up the sand and the sun
I’m a Beach Maniac
No-brainiac
Worries disappear with the rum
I’m a Beach Maniac
Real zaniac
You can keep my ipad and phone
I’m a Beach Maniac
Burned front to back
Don’t care if I ever go home
Don’t care if I ever go home
Don’t care if I ever go home
