Imagine just chillin’ at a beach bar at your resort in the U.S. Virgin Islands, and suddenly Stevie Wonder and Dave Mason get up and start jammin’. Well that’s exactly what happened one night this spring at Iggies, one of the Caribbean’s most popular beach bars, located at the Bolongo Bay Resort on St. Thomas.

Iggies has free live entertainment every night but seldom does it turn into a celebrity fest! It turns out that Stevie Wonder was eating at the bar when the band broke into “Living for the City,” one of Wonder’s songs. Stevie could not resist and got up on stage, played his harp to “House of the Rising Sun,” then visited with fans.

Next thing you know, Dave Mason stopped by and joined Stevie on stage for a blues jam. Turns out Mason, who was staying at the Bolongo Bay Resort, is a friend of the Doumeng family which owns the resort.

As you might expect, a star-struck fan shot some videos of the impromptu performances, and resort posted them on YouTube. Here they are:
