Known for its family friendly atmosphere, this beach was voted by Travel Holiday magazine as one of the top 35 beaches in the country. It is located on Florida’s southern coast and is easily accessible. It is known for its unique ocean water, as it is somewhat warmed from the gulf stream current. The beach offers a multitude of recreational activities including, but not limited to, surfing, volleyball, snorkeling, sailing, windsurfing, and swimming. Not only has the city of Delray been voted one of the cleanest, but its beach has beautiful white sand that is ideal for making sandcastles. In addition to its beautiful sandy scene, Delray Beach’s downtown is notorious for its brick sidewalks, small shops, and quaint cafes.
